I am very happy and excited to bring you and tell you the behind the scenes of this shabby chic wedding.
We combined many elements and created the perfect mix with the bride’s many ideas and requests, the design project giving character and new life to a magical place a few kilometers from Lake Garda.
I’m sure you will like it, and it will amaze you, as it did for the guests.
Welcome to Gianni & Yssana’s shabby chic wedding
THE LOCATION
I proposed this place surrounded by greenery because it seemed like the best choice for Gianni and Yssana and their foreign guests, also because they were 50 people.
For the spouses it was love at first sight and during the first inspection they immediately confirmed it.
I took them on a visit to 3 different locations which in some respects were very similar, but different from each other, always immersed in nature, an element sought after by the couple. When they saw this villa they fell in love with it instantly.
Villa dei Cipressi wine resort is a historic residence classified as “Venetian Villas” surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
Located a few km from the center of Verona, it stands on a hill and enjoys a breathtaking view and panorama of the Veronese countryside.
With 12 rooms inside the villa it is perfect for hosting destination weddings and/or intimate weddings.
THE CEREMONY AMONG THE CYPRESS TREES
We chose to celebrate the ceremony among the cypresses with a panoramic view on one side of the olive trees of the estate and on the other of the valley.
The setup with Persian carpets, wooden chairs and a hexagonal arch with flowers and pampas enhanced the place that hosted us and created a one-of-a-kind fairytale setting.
THE WELCOME DRINK PRE CEREMONY
We welcomed the guests and offered them flavored waters and a glass of bubbles from the villa since they are a winery and produce excellent wines. Here is their site https://www.sparicilandini.com
Then they went up the avenue that took them to the ceremony.
Everything was designed to let the guest see one piece at a time without revealing anything of what they would find later.
THE APERITIF
Immersed in the garden of the villa, the aperitif was structured with various islands and multiple traditional Italian products, barbecues with visible cooking, show cooking and a nod to foreign cuisines and typical dishes of the spouses.
THE TABLEAU DE MARIAGE
A great scene set up on an antique wooden table.
With green glass jars, pampas and flowers, our calligrapher wrote the name of the table and each guest right on the jars.
Original and effective, guests appreciated it very much.
DINNER IN PERFECT SHABBY CHIC – BOHEMIEN – BOHO CHIC STYLE
In the back of the villa we have set up 3 imperial tables positioned in a horseshoe shape.
The bride and groom’s table was rich and impressive, let’s say that the candles made up a good 50% of the final result, but not only…
Above their table, we mounted a U-shaped structure where the greens and flowers of the selection, 2 vintage crystal chandeliers and 50 glass spheres with tealights hung.
On the tables there were aged white ceramic cups with disheveled 3D effect flower arrangements with wonderful cappuccino roses opened by hand petal by petal.
Single candle in cold gold and flame arrester with stem candles in the color palette of blush, peach and burgundy.

THE CAKE CUTTING
The flagship of the location is this semicircular balustrade with 5 marble columns overlooking the valley. The perfect place for a wow-effect cake cutting to amaze guests.

DANCES AND OPEN BAR
On the veranda overlooking the garden, another breathtaking point of the villa, we positioned the open bar counter and continued with the dancing. the DJ and the artist musicians and singers friends of the groom, who had brought, without his knowledge, the instruments and dedicated a mini concert to him with the typical songs of their land.
A wonderful party that concluded an all-round perfect day by celebrating love.
