When the manager of the wedding location and the wedding planner are the same person or offer it to the spouses with a free, all-inclusive package

I will talk about wedding planners using the feminine article only for convenience, so as not to have to specify the masculine and feminine articles every time.

Dear newlyweds, the wedding location is the beginning of the whole process for organizing the wedding, as I always say it is the heart of the event.

When you visit the locations, it will happen or has already happened that they offer you a wedding package that also includes the wedding planner service.

Maybe the location manager and the wedding planner are the same person, or you will be presented with a wedding planner as an external or internal figure who collaborates and/or works for the location.

The first legitimate thought that a couple would have, and that I would do too, would be, wow we found the wedding location including the free wedding planner, very good one less expense.

Because the wedding planner service, like any other supplier, has a cost.

It would be a great saving since if you think about it a bit you only need a bit of flowers, arrangements and food, the rest is all up to the location or am I wrong?

The most natural question would be, if the location gives us everything and does everything, why spend more money?

But this is not really the case and I will explain the differences to you in order to evaluate these two apparently equal figures if you don’t know the differences, but which objectively are completely different.

THE LOCATION’S WEDDING PLANNER WHAT IT DOES

The wedding planner of the location offers you already selected suppliers who collaborate with them even before knowing your needs, priorities, wedding style and spending budget.

It always offers the same suppliers, their weddings are almost the same, I call them, photocopy weddings.

In some cases you, the bride and groom, cannot independently choose the suppliers for your wedding but only those on the list or sometimes the only one for that service they have exclusively, all this not for your interest but for theirs.

If you try to change something in the schedule, times, stations and zones, they will certainly try to make you change your mind because it would mean extra work and completely upset planning for the service staff, who they pay.

In some cases, however, the answer could be unique and very quick: no, it is not possible to make changes.

It wouldn’t be convenient for them.

These restrictions may increase if the location is also a hotel with rooms.

Sometimes they will even offer you more extra services that they will offer independently to increase their earnings.

Others, however, will have to adapt to the planning they impose because there could be two or more weddings at the same time in the same wedding location, with spaces already occupied and reserved previously, I don’t think it’s necessary to add any more words.

I WEDDING PLANNER WHAT I DO FOR MY BRIDE AND GROOM

I will work only for you, to create YOUR WEDDING according to YOUR NEEDS, WISHES, and PRIORITIES.

I work in a sartorial way JUST FOR YOU, with me there is no such thing as a photocopy wedding, everything is made according to your requests, traditions, stories and needs.

NOTHING EXCLUDED

I will be at your side if you want from A to Z also for the selection of clothes and accessories, wedding rings, make-up and hairstyle tests, selection of wedding favors, any service without exception.

I will take care of the entire organisational, creative, logistical and bureaucratic process of the wedding.

I will personally take care of the selection of all the suppliers, I will prepare a detailed time line of the wedding that I will give to all the suppliers, with rules, times, addresses, access, movements, everything that will happen that day.

I will make a final inspection in the location under date with the main suppliers, to manage and decide together with them, the positions, times, arrivals, set-ups, dismantlings and much more.

DESIGN

I will personally take care of the design of your wedding, always involving you, which consists of ideas, inspirations, mood boards, personalized sketches. Creation of tailor-made objects such as confetti boxes, personalized wedding favors, any gift for your guests. Fragrances, tablecloths, embroidered napkins, personalized drinks, invitations, paper, packaging, table logos, chairs, structures, scenography…

PLANNING, LOGISTICS AND MORE

I will take care of the organisational, logistical and emotional aspects of everything that comprises an event from A to Z.

I will be close to you from the preparation and dressing phase together with my staff to reassure you and support you in these initial moments where the emotional load and stress are felt.

Transport and shuttles for your guests, needs and requests of the guests, for example, ironing service for the clothes of the bride and groom, personal shopper, gifts, make-up and hair for the bridesmaids, friends, mothers, witnesses and fathers, friends of the groom, best man etc. last minute information, problems or unexpected events.

We will handle any problems or mishaps.

THE LOCATION’S WEDDING PLANNER IS NOT A WEDDING PLANNER

Dear newlyweds, I have not written this article to create fears or anxieties but to tell you what you might find when you go to visit the wedding location of your dreams, it is simply the truth.

So be careful of those who want to offer you an all-inclusive package with the free wedding planner service because the location or those who work within it will never be able to serve the interest of the bride and groom but will serve their own and/or those who pay for it!

And if you accept these conditions you will find yourself having a wedding that does not reflect you and you will have to manage many other aspects and some problems that the wedding planner of the location will not manage because when a service is free there is a limit to what you can ask for and/or or demand. Taking for granted what he will do will lead you to love surprises in times of need. And on that day even the smallest problem becomes a big problem I assure you!
